A collection of things made from other things, organized chronologically and by their maker’s ideology of reuse. Often products of postindustrial disenchantment, the included objects are made of mass-manufactured parts cobbled together into new wholes. The title is inspired by the Mad Max movies: before the apocalypse, things served their intended functions. After the bomb, everyone is a scavenger and a gatherer in search of finished goods which can serve as raw materials for new purposes.
